Meet our sleep expert - Dr. David Lee

A chartered psychologist and chartered scientist, Dr. David Lee has been teaching, researching, and sharing his insight on sleep and insomnia treatment for almost two decades!

What’s more, not only does David hold the position of Clinical Director at Sleep Unlimited – an organisation dedicated to helping the UK sleep better – but he has also written a book to share his expertise, Teaching the World to Sleep.

Meet our sleep expert Dr. David Lee

How did Dr. David Lee become a sleep expert?

Dr. David Lee’s extensive CV speaks for itself – but we don’t mind highlighting our favourite bits, too!

David (or to give him his full name, Dr David Lee BSc PhD CertEd CPsychol AFBPsS CSci) graduated from Loughborough University with a PhD in sleep psychology in 2005. But that’s not all – in 2003, David joined Sleep Unlimited as Clinical Director, helping to improve the sleep of all those who struggle to nod off.

Since then, David has also found the time to hold various academic positions, sharing his expertise with students and colleagues alike. He has also become a member of many respected sleep organisations, such as the World Association of Sleep Medicine, the British Sleep Society, and The British Psychological Society (the last of which he also holds an Associate Fellowship).
